最新的「全球前2%頂尖科學家榜單（World’s Top 2% Scientists）」於2025年9月份發布，「全球前2%頂尖科學家榜單」是美國史丹佛大學參照Scopus所建立，利用所有Scopus作者計算，涵蓋22個主學科和174個子領域，依據下列幾種關鍵指標進行評分：總引用次數、Hirsch h-index、共同作者修正後的 Schreiber Hm-index、以單獨作者身份發表論文的被引用次數、以單獨作者或第一作者身份發表論文的被引用次數、以單獨作者、第一作者或最後作者身份發表論文的被引用次數。
最後以 C-Score 作為排名依據 (將6個經對數轉換的引用指標 (NC、H、Hm、NS、NSF、NSFL) 逐一標準化，給予每個指標 0 到 1 的標準化數值，其中 1 代表該指標原始值最高的科學家， 然後加總)，最終選出「終身科學影響力排行榜(1960-2024)」以及「2025年度科學影響力排行榜」兩份榜單。
The latest “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list, compiled by Stanford University with data from Scopus, was released in September 2025. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification. It evaluates researchers based on several key metrics including citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator (c-score).
Our university has achieved the following distinctions:
35 faculty members have been selected as part of the “World’s Top 2% Scientists in Career-long (1960-2024) Achievements”.
49 faculty members have been recognized as ” World’s Top 2% Scientist in 2025″.
Notably, 25 faculty members have been honored on both lists.
